Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead regulatory compliance activities for automotive related products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving all regulatory compliance related activity, leading the team, and ensuring successful completion of type-approval and CoP projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. They will also possess strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop homologation strategies and roadmaps for retrofit emission control devices and automotive related products.
  • Develop and manage relationships with test agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring effective execution of regulatory compliance strategies and meeting timelines.
  • Monitor and report on the regulatory compliance process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Take ownership of regulatory compliance-related projects within the company.
  • Foster a culture of process-driven innovation across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
  • Manage external partners and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a minimum of one year in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and compliance partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
