Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our logistics network, ensuring that all operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to and timely audits are conducted.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up on deadlines. They should also possess analytical skills, a hustler's attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

In addition, the Operations Manager will be responsible for reducing costs by monitoring per shipment expenses and increasing productivity by maintaining Promise Delivery Dates (PDDs). They will also oversee operational budgets, cash management, and fleet management.

A key aspect of this role is the identification of opportunities for new pin code expansion and the scouting of facilities for new distribution centers.

The selected candidate will act as a people manager, coordinating with Human Resources on employee salaries, other issues, and grievances. They will also be responsible for implementing new initiatives, such as involving third-party distributors for smaller packages.

Maintaining security parameters across the region is also a critical responsibility, ensuring that no unlawful activity occurs.
