We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Austin. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the payment industry.

As a member of the Visa Risk Manager team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining solutions for clients. You will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and client support teams to deliver high-quality results.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in Java, REST APIs, JSON, Angular, and container-based technologies. They should also have experience with web service standards, gRPC, and large-scale distributed systems. Additionally, they should be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 6 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree
