Job Description:

This is a key role within our organization, operating across various industries. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our quality management system.

This role ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications across all testing and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Monitor and ensure that the management system is implemented in various departments and appraise management on its effectiveness.
  • Lead quality audits (internal and external) and manage corrective/preventive actions.
  • Register customer complaints and resolve them by organizing investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Train staff on QMS requirements, quality procedures, and testing standards.

The Quality Assurance Specialist is also responsible for controlling management system documents, liaising with accreditation/approval bodies, reviewing and approving quality management system documents, and improving the management system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education Qualification: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Chemistry, Quality Management, or related field.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or laboratory management, preferably within petroleum or chemical testing services.

Expertise at:

  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and laboratory accreditation processes.
  • Experience with auditing (internal/external) and regulatory compliance.
  • Certified Internal Auditor for ISO standards is an advantage.
