Job Description

About our search for an EHS expert:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP EHS consultant to join our team of experts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our EHS program are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in end-to-end software development and implementation projects.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and Functional Requirement Specifications in accordance with approved IT Architecture.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
  • Support Delivery Manager and Platform Analyst in evaluating solution feasibility, design, and high-level estimation.
  • Develop and provide required user training for implemented applications.
  • Collaborate with Business, Architects, and Platform Analyst to elaborate on requirements.
  • Prior to UAT validate that solution meets business requirements.
  • Responsible for validating test plans and functional test cases and sign off acceptance of products.
  • Promptly escalate issues affecting product delivery and quality beyond scope of influence.
  • Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory aspects of solutions.
  • Ensure seamless business operations support (third line support) when needed.
  • Drive business process harmonization using industry best practices.
  • Propose newer IT business propositions to stakeholders and recommend innovations to platform providers.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in SAP EHS Functional.
  • Participated in at least 3 SAP EHS implementations.
  • Responsible for Risk Assessments, EHS Audit, Product Safety, and Dangerous Goods. Functional consulting and process knowledge in these areas are required.

Soft Skills Required:

  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in business/client-facing roles.
  • Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful, and ability to multitask.
  • Clarity of thought and vision.
  • Ability to ideate and bring solutions to the table.
  • Adherence to timelines without sacrificing quality of output.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented with a strong ability to coordinate across different geographies and with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions at the same point in time.
