Dynamic AX Expert Sought

We're looking for an accomplished Dynamic AX expert to bolster our application ecosystem. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of AX modules and proficiency in SQL development.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to work independently to debug existing customizations, trace business logic in X++ and SQL, extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server, write and optimize complex queries for reporting and migration, perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality, and create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

  • Prior experience with MS SQL Server is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynamic AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong background in X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in query optimization, data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
  • Able to craft complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance.
  • Familiarity with stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of best practices for data conversion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with other database systems like Oracle is a plus.
