Internal Audit Lead Role
The Senior Internal Auditor position involves overseeing risk-based internal audits across operational, financial, and compliance areas. This role requires a professional with a strong background in internal audit and experience with governance, risk management, and control testing.
- Lead internal audits to identify and mitigate risks within the organization.
- Develop and implement new controls to strengthen governance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present findings to senior executives and drive remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute annual risk-based audit plans, including fieldwork and reporting.
- Design and test controls, including relevant regulations.
- Lead audit teams, mentor team members, and manage client relationships.
Requirements:
- CA with 10+ years of post-qualification experience in consulting or CA firms performing hands-on internal audit and leadership roles.
- Risk assessment, control testing, report writing, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferences/Constraints:
- Prefer mid-tier consulting or CA firm experience with robust IA exposure.
- Not considering Big 4 firms or industry-heavy profiles.
- Able to originate opportunities and nurture client relationships.
