Site Reliability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled expert to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high availability architectures with failover and recovery mechanisms
  • Develop capacity planning models and work with stakeholders to forecast future scalability requirements
  • Establish performance baselines, thresholds, and SLAs for critical applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities through chaos engineering
  • Analyze and debug applications, and understand REST APIs
  • Instrument services, write exporters and collectors, and automate across applications/services and infrastructure management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and microservices architecture
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and Open Telemetry using tools like Splunk, AppD, Prometheus, Fluentd, ELK, TIG, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Go, Python, C++, Ruby, or Java, and software delivery platforms like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Spinnaker
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and automation technologies
  • Excellent communication and business presentation skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Performance testing and engineering experience with tools like JMeter/LoadRunner
  • Experience with client-side performance engineering for mobile and web applications
  • Knowledge of load testing, APM tools, and performance optimization
