Technical Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to oversee engineering production activities for an operating unit. As a senior-level professional, you will make authoritative decisions and recommendations that drive project delivery.

  • Support and coordinate engineering production activities.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with senior-level management within the company.
  • Demonstrate mature judgment in anticipating and solving operational problems.
  • Develop standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master of Engineering degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field.
  • 20+ years of experience in Structure is required.
  • Experience in Middle East project desirable.
  • Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
  • Able to see the bigger picture and take a birds-eye view of projects.
  • Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Accountability for assigned work.
  • Accuracy & precision of work.
