The principal objective of the Automation Architect is to craft and implement test automation frameworks and strategies for mobile telecom applications. This role ensures the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across functional and non-functional testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Framework:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for telco systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools, technologies, and platforms that align with the telecom Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Test Automation Strategy:
- Define the test automation strategy and identify opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with test leads and domain subject matter experts to identify potential areas for automation.
- Prioritize test cases for automation, focusing on high-value business processes.
Test Script Development:
- Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
