We are seeking an experienced Observability Professional to join our team.

This long-term contract position involves working with one of the world's leading technology companies, a progressive and innovative organization that prioritizes creativity, diversity, and flexibility in the workplace.

  • As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • You will lead the adoption of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tooling, ensuring standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Additionally, you will define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources, focusing on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions when necessary.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Dynatrace, and Synthetic Monitoring. Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to collaborate effectively across functions, and possess strong communication skills.
