About the Role

We are seeking an experienced aviation professional to lead and deliver airfield civil engineering projects from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth and development of our team, with potential to become a subject matter expert in airfield engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design teams for airfield civil engineering projects, providing leadership and direction to junior members.
  • Deliver projects on time, ensuring high-quality technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Contribute to technical design reviews, adhering to quality management standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, industry associates, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues, and RFIs, supporting project managers in monitoring progress and implementing project controls.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Civil engineering expertise in large airport projects, from concept to detailed design and construction support.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals in aviation projects.
  • Strong communication and self-leadership skills, with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting business objectives in dynamic environments.
  • Knowledge of international airfield design standards and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software packages is preferable.
