Job Title: Automation Professional

Candidates must have a strong technical background in automation and commissioning, with at least 8-10 years of experience.


We require candidates who are willing to travel for approximately 50% of the time per year.


Field work is also an essential part of this role, so we need individuals who are comfortable with hands-on work.

1. Key Technical Skills


We need professionals with expertise in PLC programming, specifically ladder logic and function block diagrams (FBD).


PID programming and loop tuning are also crucial skills for this role.


Communication protocols such as Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, and IoT are necessary.


MQTT protocol experience is a plus.


Candidates should be familiar with platforms like Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Schneider.


IO list preparation and review are also essential tasks.


SCADA/HMI development is preferred.


Panel engineering knowledge is also required.

2. Instrumentation & Electrical Knowledge


Candidates should have experience with thermocouples, pressure, and level transmitters/switches.


Proximity sensors and modulating valves are also essential components of this role.


Instrumentation and control earthing, as well as power earthing, are critical aspects.


Familiarity with safety systems (SIL, interlocks) is a plus.

3. Site & Field Experience


Candidates should have site commissioning experience.


Panel wiring and termination, as well as physical work during setup, are essential parts of this job.


Experience with multi-site execution is also necessary.

4. Project & Managerial Capability


Candidates should have managed teams or technicians before.


Hands-on experience with industrial automation projects is also required.


Vendor coordination and procurement knowledge are essential.


Ownership of project deliverables is also necessary.

5. Documentation & Communication


Candidates should be able to create functional design specifications (FDS).


IO documentation and wiring diagrams are also essential.


Control panel layout and general arrangement (GA) review are necessary.


Reporting, email, and team communication are also essential skills.


Exposure to remote diagnostics/cloud integration is a plus.
