Job Title:

E-commerce Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Project Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects on time. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple clients' new implementations and post-launch eCommerce IT optimization roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive business goals, lead innovation in the e-commerce industry, and use Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies to manage multiple development teams.

  • Manage day-to-day project details, including client optimizations roadmaps, plan, schedule, project delivery, staffing, task assignments, scope, budget, and risks.
  • Facilitate project kick-off with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Follow core processes and methodology to drive quality, consistency, and accuracy of project delivery.
  • Maximize performance across scope, timeline, revenue, and profitability.
  • Determine Project goals and manage dependencies and risks with the client and internal teams.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies, rework, roadblocks, and issues.
  • Manage change rigorously and ensure client expectations are managed accordingly.
  • Ensure focus throughout the project team and maximize throughput of task completion.
  • Be a consultative partner to clients, steering them towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Engage in proposals and estimations to drive new business into our organization.
  • Work with internal teams and clients to build client optimizations roadmaps.
  • Work with clients and internal practices to ensure road map story requirements are technically sufficient.
  • Facilitate all project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, and feedback.
  • Managing offshore project delivery teams and ensuring collaboration and clear communication between team members.
  • Weekly project/sprint status, financial, and schedule reporting to stakeholders.
  • Deliver releases to agreed timelines.
  • Create and communicate release schedules.
  • Work with business sponsors, peers, and other stakeholders to develop and review project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of all direct communication with customers and resolving escalations within the scope of our service offering.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal and external colleagues to build a first-class customer relationship.
  • Uncovering and recognizing any risks that threaten customer satisfaction or renewal.
  • Working closely with the Client Success team to identify and develop new opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Conducting regular reviews with clients to review services delivered.
  • Listening to customers carefully and truly understanding their key business issues and opportunities.
  • Building strong, transparent, and trust-based relationships with clients.

Service Improvement:

  • Working with the support team to ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and monitoring is in place.
  • Maintaining an active Continual Service Improvement program to establish the root cause of problems and fix these through ongoing road map delivery releases.
  • Maintaining day-to-day accountability for the ownership and resolution of Service issues.
  • Ensuring all effort expended is reported accurately and billed in line with client contracts.
