Network Infrastructure Manager Position

We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Network Infrastructure Manager. This key position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement network solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, providing technical support to users and departments.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for network equipment and services.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior network staff and other IT personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration and support.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Experience with routing and switching technologies.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies and VoIP systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities.
  • May require travel to different locations.
