Memory Layout Specialist

As a Memory Layout Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing memory layouts to meet the demands of cutting-edge technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of layout design principles, including floor-planning, placement, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints.

You will work closely with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts, ensuring that our custom memories (such as SRAM and Register Files) meet the required specifications.

In addition, you will have a good understanding of physical verification checks, including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR. Experience with advanced process nodes (5nm and below) is highly desirable.

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or TCL. The required skill set includes experience in custom-based memories or compiler-based memories, as well as exposure to high-performance and/or low-power memory layout optimization techniques.

A minimum of 5 plus years of experience in memory layout design is necessary for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize memory layouts to meet technology demands
  • Work closely with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts
  • Ensure compliance with layout design principles and physical verification checks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency
