Track Alignment Professional

As a Track Alignment Specialist, you will play a key role in creating preliminary designs and ensuring seamless execution of Rail Track Design projects.

  • Designing Horizontal and Vertical Track Centre Line Alignment: Utilize your expertise to create precise designs, considering factors such as Points and Crossings based on the concept of operation.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures: Create and implement procedures that guarantee work execution adheres to SOD standards.
  • Analyzing As-Built Components: Carefully examine each component with tolerance, suggesting suitable solutions to avoid infringement during mass construction while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinating Day-to-Day Activities: Oversee daily activities involved in Rail Track Design projects.
  • Expertise in Elevated Sections: Leverage extensive knowledge of various design methodologies in Elevated Sections.
  • Proficiency in Rail Design Software: Showcase proficiency in Swept Path Analysis, Regression Analysis, and Drain using Rail Design software.
  • Conducting Quality Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of design calculations, including Cant, Cant Deficiency, Cant Excess, Speed, Rate of change of Cant, Rate of change of Cant Deficiency, and Transition.
  • Ensuring Site Compliance: Visit sites to ensure construction activity and site condition are up to par, collaborating with interface teams.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of total experience, with 5 years dedicated to relevant experience in Track Alignment of Metro projects.
