Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Treasury Manager to oversee the daily operations of our finance & accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash receipts & payments, revenue recognition & accounting, general ledger, payroll & utilities, expense planning and management, budget preparation & variance analysis, assets reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data and be able to produce accurate financial reports & statements (including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows). They will also be responsible for treasury operations, including weekends, and establish and enforce proper expense policies and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the finance & accounting department
  • Manage cash receipts & payments, revenue recognition & accounting, general ledger, payroll & utilities, expense planning and management, budget preparation & variance analysis, assets reconciliation
  • Monitor & analyze financial data and produce financial reports & statements (including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows)
  • Treasury operations, including weekends
  • Establish and enforce proper expense policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory dictates while fostering business growth
  • Support CEO and CFO in fund raising activities, as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Over 5 years' experience as accounting manager, accounting supervisor, controller, or treasury manager
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of payment operations and digital payment processing
  • Education: MBA Finance, BBA Finance
  • Ability to manage relationships internally and externally
  • Willingness to work in an early-stage company
  • Financial services / payments industry background preferred
  • Must be an individual with excellent communication skills
