Job Description:

Total Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Mandatory Skills: ETL, DWH, Python, Airflow, Rest API, AWS, SQL, Data Pipelines

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Full Stack Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and architectures.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, ReatJS, and NodeJS. Additionally, they should have experience working with cloud-based database technologies such as Vertica, Redshift, and Postgres.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines and architectures using ETL tools and scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop and maintain data models and metadata standards.
  • Analyze data quality and perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in application integration and integration patterns
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, high attention to detail.
  • Candidate should be able to troubleshoot problem areas and identify gaps and issues.
  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environment.
  • Familiarity with database modeling and schema design
  • Experience understanding API integration processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Presentation skills in demonstrating system design and integration analysis solutions.
  • Familiar with agile project delivery process.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD API integration and data pipeline automation

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Years of professional full-stack development experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL for use in data access, discovery, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Airflow
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, ReatJS, and NodeJS
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and code build
  • Hands-on experience creating API mapping documents and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with various cloud-based database technologies (Vertica, Redshift, Postgres, etc.)
  • Experience in data governance a plus.
