We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our medical communications efforts. This individual will be responsible for providing operational and compliance support, as well as delivering high-quality medical communication assets.

">Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact between USMA Med Comms and Novartis Corporate Center.
  2. Liaison and Standards Maintenance: Act as a liaison with scientific writers to maintain the highest standards for publications, MSL tools, congress content, and other medical education deliverables.
  3. Deliverables Implementation: Work proactively with scientific writers to implement deliverables and brand-specific internal or external style guidelines, copyediting, language editing, and proofreading.
  4. Compliance and Project Management: Ensure compliance with Novartis and Medical Communication specifications, project management standards, and policies for assigned therapeutic areas.

This role requires a strong ability to work in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and working knowledge of the US Healthcare landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum B.Sc. equivalent or M.Sc./M.Pharm with commensurate experience.
  • Experience: Preferred Doctoral Degree in Medical Sciences, preferably in a healthcare-related field, 5-10 years medical affairs experience, and 3-5 years medical communications experience.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a highly matrixed environment, and travel internationally and domestically as required.
