Protect Web Applications from Threats

As a seasoned security expert, you will be responsible for safeguarding web applications and ensuring the integrity of our digital presence.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining advanced security solutions in cloud environments to protect against common threats and vulnerabilities.
- Developing and fine-tuning complex security policies to prevent OWASP Top 10 attacks, DDoS assaults, and other web-based dangers.
- Monitoring system logs and alerts to identify and respond to suspicious activities and security incidents in real-time.
- Optimizing security performance to minimize false positives and maintain effective threat mitigation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security protocols within application delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
- Conducting comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability analysis for web applications and providing recommendations for remediation.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in web application security and advanced threat management, preferably with cloud-based security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of web protocols (HTTP/S, SSL/TLS), APIs, and common web vulnerabilities.
- Experience with log analysis and security incident monitoring tools (SIEM).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Cloud Security Certified Professional or CEH are advantageous.
