Senior Cloud Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled cloud engineer to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable cloud-native systems.

  • Develop secure, reliable, and efficient cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Implement containerized environments using Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift) and automate infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code/architecture reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and ensure observability using tools like Datadog.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS or other Cloud Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go, and modern programming languages.
  • Strong experience with AWS Serverless (AWS Lambda) and AWS-managed databases (RDS, DynamoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, OpenShift, and CI/CD tools.
