Tekla Detailer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tekla Detailer to join our team. As a key member of our design and construction group, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Tekla Structures and have experience in generating fabrication drawings and material lists from 3D models. You will work closely with designers and engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software, adhering to project specifications and requirements.
  • Generate fabrication drawings and material lists from the models, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance, participating in design and construction meetings as needed.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of English language and ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Able to work independently and have experience in creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for steel structures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Tekla Structures software and able to create accurate 3D models.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel design principles and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
