About the Role:

The Deputy Vice President of Cyber Innovation will lead the CoE's innovation and research initiatives, fostering a culture of experimentation and prototyping.

This role focuses on driving strategic innovation, simulating real-world cybersecurity challenges, and accelerating the development and testing of emerging solutions to future-proof digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an innovation strategy aligned with the CoE's goals and overall cybersecurity objectives.
  • Design and equip a state-of-the-art innovation lab to support cutting-edge research and development.
  • Establish frameworks for research and innovation activities, including infrastructure enablement and operational models.
  • Develop strategic and operational relationships for the implementation and operation of the lab.
  • Ensure efficient lab operations, effective resource allocation, and project management practices.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of research initiatives and innovation projects.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks.
  • Promote the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase new technologies.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the CoE, facilitating the dissemination of best practices and research findings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including industry experts, research institutions, and technology vendors.
  • Identify and nurture talent within the CoE, providing opportunities for professional development and growth in areas related to innovation and cybersecurity.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of innovation initiatives and overall impact.
  • Improve the organization's security posture through innovative solutions and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution OR Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology, relevant certifications, and experience.
