Senior Software Tester

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) engineer to join our team. As an SQA engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

Your primary focus will be on identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues, while continuously improving our QA processes and tooling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough coverage of our software applications.
• Analyze and resolve quality issues, working closely with development teams to implement fixes and improvements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing-related aspects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in App and Web testing.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including Black-box testing, Gray-box testing, Smoke and sanity testing, Acceptance testing, Exploratory testing.
• Experience with test case development, execution, and reporting.
• Knowledge of defect lifecycle management and bug tracking systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: PHP, Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and database systems, including familiarity with Redis and MongoDB.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing processes.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
• Adaptability to changing requirements and result-oriented mindset.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in server-side testing.
• Practical project development experience using PHP/Python/Java/Go.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automated testing expertise: Mobile automation (Appium, Espresso, XCTest), Web automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), Test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, pytest).
• Performance and load testing experience: Tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner, Experience analyzing performance bottlenecks, Stress and scalability testing.
• Security testing knowledge: OWASP testing methodology, Penetration testing basics, Security vulnerability scanning.
• Advanced API testing skills: REST API testing (Postman, RestAssured), SOAP API testing, GraphQL testing.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
• Knowledge of test data management principles.
• Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven testing.
• Background in financial or trading systems testing.
