Secure Application Developer

We seek an accomplished Secure Application Developer to fortify our software applications against potential threats.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Secure Coding Standards: Create and enforce secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities in our software applications.
  • Conduct Regular Security Assessments: Periodically evaluate our applications to identify potential security risks and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other teams to design and implement secure architectures and systems for our applications.
  • Stay Current with Emerging Threats: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, providing recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or DevOps with a focus on product security.
  • Familiarity with security assessment tools such as SAST and DAST scanners, as well as CI/CD environments.
  • Basic understanding of secure coding principles, cloud security, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
  • Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as SDLC and ITIL is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills relevant to Information Security, including secure coding standards, ethical hacking techniques, network security, SIEM, and risk analysis.
  • Certifications such as Security+ or CEH are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud security frameworks and zero-trust architecture.
  • AppSec depth, Cloud specialization, Foundational credibility, and CEH are beneficial.
