**Job Description**

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our Commercial Data team in Advertising. The purpose of this role is to develop leading property and market data insights to power Real Commercial products.

As a Senior Data Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of complex initiatives under our product management pipeline using agile methods and frameworks working with cross-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies.
  2. Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions, considering long-term scalability and maintainability.
  3. Establish effective ways of working within and across teams.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-13 years of experience as a developer, with a strong background in SQL, Python, ETL / ELT pipelines, data modelling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis and documentation, and data warehousing.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
