At the heart of our organization lies a crucial role that shapes company culture by ensuring new hires grasp and adopt the organization's values, norms, and expectations from the outset. This fosters a sense of belonging and engagement among employees.
This pivotal position demands strong leadership skills to drive consistent onboarding experiences for new hires across all locations. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic learning programs aimed at onboarding new employees and instilling a sense of pride in them.
In this role, you will oversee the entire onboarding journey from pre-boarding to completion, collaborating with HR, IT, and relevant department heads. Your primary focus will be on creating a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports new hires in their initial months and instills a sense of pride in them.
You will be accountable for driving the design, development, delivery, and optimization of impactful and seamless learning programs. Your expertise will be sought after to ensure a seamless integration of new hires into the company culture, regardless of whether they join corporate or regional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a detailed roadmap to action the strategy for assimilating new hires. Design and implement a comprehensive new hire onboarding program to equip new employees with the knowledge, skills, and culture alignment needed to succeed in their roles.
- Oversee the complete onboarding journey, including pre-boarding, onboarding, and post-onboarding phases, collaborating with HR, IT, and all relevant department heads.
- Continuously improve the onboarding experience to create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports new hires in their initial months and instills a sense of pride in them.
- Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to align onboarding content with business updates, organizational history, cultural values, and performance expectations.
- Leverage digital tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other technologies to deliver a scalable and efficient onboarding experience.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- A minimum of 11+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on onboarding and/or behavioral learning. Experience in e-commerce or large-scale organizations is highly preferred.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources/Organizational Development/Organizational Psychology.
- Certification in psychometric (DISC, Hogan) tools, Certification in Facilitation skills is a plus.
- A passion for exploring different tech solutions like AR/VR, AI/ML-based solutions to enhance learner experience will be a plus.
- Curiosity about content platforms and adoption strategies to drive self-paced learning.
