Job Role Overview:

Our cybersecurity team is expanding to support our global presence and meet compliance requirements. As a Senior Security Operations Specialist, you will collaborate with product development teams to design and implement robust security systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure infrastructure and monitor security threats
  • Conduct regular reviews of security controls and procedures to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams during security incidents
  • Stay current on emerging threats and security trends to enhance our security posture
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Drive initiatives to automate and streamline security processes using technology and best practices
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters, providing training and guidance to internal teams

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SOC environment with proficiency in incident investigation and DevSecOps CloudOps
  • Collaborate with IR teams in Bangalore and Dublin to monitor security capabilities
  • Act as the primary contact for compliance activities
  • Lead Incident Command during working hours, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve security incidents swiftly
  • Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and document lessons learned
  • Manage Sec Ops tooling, SOC tools, and implement Use Cases for Security Operations efficiency
  • Identify and address problems in SOC technologies, leveraging automation to prevent incident recurrence
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security posture, scalability, and implement proactive solutions
