Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist

In our aerospace projects, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems for avionics and other electronic systems.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic components with mechanical systems into our UAS. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects at the forefront of aerospace technology.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create high-precision electro-mechanical systems that meet stringent requirements.
  • Component Selection and Validation: Define criteria for key electronics and mechanical components, test, and validate them for use in different sub-systems.
  • Integration and Coordination: Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems, ensuring alignment in design parameters and tolerance considerations.
  • Testing and Verification: Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software and mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development and mechanical systems proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aeronautical (Avionics).
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience in electronic and circuit assembly.
  • Familiarity with parametric modeling CAD software.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Aptitude for technology evolution and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience working in a global company or academic institution demonstrating initiative and rigor in creating innovative engineering solutions.
