Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our Developer Productivity / Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives that improve developer experience, accelerate release cycles, and build scalable internal platforms.

  • Lead the Developer Productivity / Platform Engineering team by setting the vision and execution roadmap.
  • Design and develop internal tools and platforms that optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions like Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, and service monitoring tools.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Champion best practices around continuous delivery, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Evangelize the team's work internally and externally through workshops, training, cross-team adoption, conferences, blogs, and open-source contributions.
  • Mentor engineers, foster innovation, and cultivate a culture of experimentation and learning.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with 8+ years of software development experience and at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles. Key requirements include:

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.
  • Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java, with preference for Go.
  • Experience designing ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools.
  • Proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
