Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at HyrEzy Talent Solutions. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that helps our customers understand and use our products effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Determine the needs of end-users for technical documentation and develop a plan to meet those needs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers and developers, to create user-friendly and intuitive documentation.
  3. Organize and write all support documentation for products, including user manuals, guides, and online help.
  4. Use a variety of media, such as photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts, to increase users' understanding of complex topics.
  5. Select an appropriate medium for the message or audience, such as manuals or online videos.
  6. Standardize content across platforms and media to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  7. Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers to improve documentation.
  8. Maintain version control for all documents as new issues arise.
  9. Familiarity with tools for document creation and formatting, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  10. Support RFPs responses and help to identify use-cases for language fit.
  11. Provide day-to-day support to sales by creating presentation decks, providing demos, and client-facing proposal documents.
  12. Collaborate with CoEs to prepare sales collaterals, white papers, and business proposals on solutions/solution accelerators/proof of concepts.
  13. Publish point of view papers individually/in collaboration with business heads.
  14. Researching and defining terminologies to create Quick Reference Guide for the clients.
  15. Document & track latest product enhancements.
  16. Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
  17. Keep close interaction between QA and Development team for information gathering.
  18. Coordinate directly with the Client Delivery team for information gathering.
  19. Design and develop documents, Knowledge Base, and Frequently Asked Questions for internal and external audiences.
  20. Work with clients to understand their service requirements, translate them to technical specifications, and define them for development and implementation teams.
  21. Create and maintain project plans and status reports for management and cross-functional teams.
  22. Write search engine optimized (SEO) website content, articles, blogs, press releases, and forum posts to promote the applications/products of the company and strengthen customer relationships of the Technical knowledge-API documentation, Product documentation, Exposure to SaaS based tools and infra.

Requirements:

  1. Proficient in English - Oral and written.
  2. Research Skills - Scope of work, Business case analysis, Use-case generation.
  3. Knowledge of: Microsoft tools - Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe, Wordpress.
  4. Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
  5. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  7. Industry experience as an effective technical writer.
