Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our team at HyrEzy Talent Solutions. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that supports our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Determine the needs of end-users for technical documentation
  2. Study product samples and collaborate with product designers and developers
  3. Work with technical staff to simplify products and reduce the need for instructions
  4. Organize and write support documentation for products
  5. Select the most effective medium for the message or audience
  6. Standardize content across platforms and media
  7. Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers
  8. Manage version control for documents as new issues arise
  9. Familiarize yourself with tools for document creation and formatting
  10. Support RFP responses and identify language fit
  11. Provide day-to-day support to sales by creating presentation decks, providing demos, and client-facing proposal documents
  12. Collaborate with CoEs to prepare sales collaterals, white papers, and business proposals on solutions, solution accelerators, and proof of concepts
  13. Publish point of view papers individually or in collaboration with business heads
  14. Research and define terminologies to create Quick Reference Guides for clients
  15. Document and track the latest product enhancements
  16. Create tutorials to help end-users use various applications
  17. Maintain close interaction between QA and Development teams for information gathering
  18. Coordinate directly with the Client Delivery team for information gathering
  19. Design and develop documents, Knowledge Base, and Frequently Asked Questions for internal and external audiences
  20. Work with clients to understand their service requirements, translate them to technical specifications, and define them for development and implementation teams
  21. Create and maintain project plans and status reports for management and cross-functional teams
  22. Write search engine optimized website content, articles, blogs, press releases, and forum posts to promote our applications and products and strengthen customer relationships

Requirements:

  1. Proficient in English - Oral and written
  2. Research Skills - Scope of work, Business case analysis, Use-case generation
  3. Knowledge of: Microsoft tools - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, WordPress
  4. Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  5. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  6. Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  7. Industry experience as an effective technical writer
