Job Description:
The Strategic Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes:
- Recruitment and Selection: Developing effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract top talent, including identifying staffing needs, developing job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Employee Relations: Maintaining positive relationships with employees by addressing grievances, providing counseling and support, and ensuring that policies and procedures are communicated effectively.
- Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management systems that support employee growth and development, including setting performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and developing performance improvement plans as needed.
- Benefits Administration: Managing the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits, to ensure that they are competitive and cost-effective.
- Training and Development: Developing and implementing training and development programs that support employee growth and development, including identifying training needs, developing training materials, and delivering training programs.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the organization is compliant with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws, wage and hour laws, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Policy Development: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of human resources best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software programs.
