Job Title: Music Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate music instructor to join our team at TalentGum. As a music instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children from the age group of 4 to 14 online.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in music theory and sheet music. They should also be experienced in teaching music and have relevant teaching experience (at least 1 year).

Responsibilities:

  • Teach children from the age group of 4 to 14 online.
  • Ensure that students enjoy the course.
  • Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
  • Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct Demo Sessions with students and ensure conversions.
  • Conduct group and private lessons as required.
  • Provide a fun and creative environment.

Requirements:

  • Formal education in Music.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and sheet music.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Experience in teaching music.
  • Relevant teaching experience (at least 1 year).
  • Experience in the usage of technology in education would be a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good English Communication Skills.
  • Must have experience in online teaching.
  • Must have a properly functioning Laptop/Desktop.
  • Must have access to strong internet services and reliable power backup sources.
  • Comfortable in teaching children.
  • Should be available for teaching 6 days a week.
  • Engages students in learning.
  • Passion for making learning fun.
  • Should be comfortable with Music sheet/Sight reading.
  • Must be proficient with Music Theory.
