Job Overview:

This role is responsible for leading the network operations group and managing a team of engineers, analysts, and administrators. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overall network infrastructure design, implementation, operation, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the network operations group and lead a team of engineers, analysts, and administrators
  • Develop comprehensive network strategies to support business goals and security standards
  • Design, deploy, and maintain robust network architectures including LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Drive network security initiatives including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, and threat mitigation strategies
  • Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify risks and optimize efficiency
  • Foster strong vendor partnerships and manage service level agreements (SLAs), contracts, and procurement
  • Lead incident response during critical network issues and coordinate cross-functional efforts
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices related to network operations and security
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and operations
Certifications and Skills:
  • Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are required
  • Deep expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, routing and switching, firewall and security infrastructure, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and load balancing
