Job Title: Senior Accountant/Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Financial Operations Manager with over 10 years of hands-on experience in Tally ERP, GST, Service Tax, Income Tax, and day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of statutory compliance and be proficient in MS Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting using Tally ERP.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including journal entries, sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), Service Tax (legacy matters, if applicable), Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and advance tax payments.
  • Finalize Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and liaise with auditors and government authorities.
  • Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records and support MIS reporting.
  • Use MS Excel for complex financial models, reports, pivot tables, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable/payable, aging reports, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Keep up-to-date with tax laws, compliance updates, and ERP enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime.
  • Strong working knowledge of GST, Service Tax, Income Tax, TDS, and PF/ESIC.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Data Validation, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of Indian accounting standards and taxation rules.
  • Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (Master's or CA Inter preferred).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
