Robotics Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design, build, and test robotic systems, components, and prototypes using mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
  • Control Systems and Automation: Develop and program control systems, sensors, and automation software to enhance system performance and integration.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing robotic applications to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research to enhance robotic capabilities and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and IoT.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, and ROS.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of control systems, sensors, and embedded systems.
  • CAD Software: Experience with CAD software and mechanical design.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with AI, computer vision, and machine learning is a plus.
