Job Role: Openshift Virtualization Specialist

Greetings from our organization. We are seeking an experienced professional in Openshift Virtualization to fill this key position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and operation of OpenShift Virtualization environments.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • IT Process Management: Understand and adhere to IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Windows Server Management: Proficiency in managing Windows Servers, including patch management.
  • Network Understanding: Strong understanding of networking principles and practices.
  • Storage Management: Knowledge and management of storage systems and technologies including storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC)
  • Bare Metal Servers: Experience in bare metal server installation, rack and stack operations, and decommissioning servers, including examples such as DELL and HP ProLiant servers.
  • VM Management: Experience in deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V), managing the lifecycle of virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.

  • Expertise in OpenShift Virtualization.
  • Strong knowledge of network principles.
  • Proficient in Windows Server management.
  • Experience in bare metal server installation and VM management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
