Key Requirements:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide top-notch assistance to our organization's end-users. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
  • The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows 10/11), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
  • In addition, they should be familiar with ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ManageEngine) and possess excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to minimize downtime and ensure smooth business operations.
  2. Troubleshoot complex operating system and application-related issues (Windows, MS Office, email, etc.) using technical documentation and resources.
  3. Install, configure, and upgrade end-user hardware and software according to IT policies and procedures.
  4. Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Active Directory while maintaining confidentiality and security.
  5. Support connectivity issues including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP telephony, escalating critical problems to the relevant teams when necessary.
  6. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements, documenting all interactions and resolutions in the ITSM tool.
  7. Log incidents and service requests accurately, following up to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  8. Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities (device setup, profile configurations) to ensure seamless transitions.
  9. Participate in IT asset inventory, audits, and compliance reporting to maintain accurate records and adhere to organizational standards.
  10. Maintain comprehensive documentation, FAQs, and user guides for common issues, ensuring accessibility and consistency.
