Warehouse Management Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Management consultant with 5 to 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on expertise with warehouse management systems and be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting supply chain solutions.

This role requires a strong functional and/or technical understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to drive efficiency through process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in the implementation and configuration of warehouse management systems to meet client business requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design and document functional solutions, ensuring they align with best practices and optimize warehouse workflows.
  • Testing & Support: Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) and provide post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to warehouse management systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Core Experience: 5 to 15+ years of professional experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong expertise in warehouse management systems, including their core modules and functionalities.
    • Proven experience in WMS implementation, configuration, and support.
    • Solid understanding of warehouse management processes, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with other warehouse management systems or software.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware).
