AI Expert Needed

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to develop high-quality assessment items for a Generative AI Foundations certification course.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to create clear, standards-aligned assessment items that help students master key generative AI concepts and practices and succeed on the certification exam.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment Item Development:
    • Develop accurate, relevant, and high-quality assessment items aligned with the certification's learning objectives.
    • Ensure assessment items reflect the appropriate Bloom's Taxonomy level and Depth of Knowledge (DOK) standards.
  • Instructional Design:
    • Ensure that questions, examples, and scenarios directly support the stated learning objectives.
    • Suggest revisions to improve clarity, engagement, and instructional validity.
    • Validate that terminology, context, and problem-solving tasks reflect authentic AI use cases and industry practices.
    • Provide realistic workplace and industry scenarios to support applied learning and skill transfer.
  • Collaboration and Feedback:
    • Collaborate with instructional designers, stakeholders, and educators to ensure the course is relevant and impactful.
    • Revise content based on feedback from the team.
    • Work as a productive team member as part of a global, cross-functional team.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Experience in AI concepts, generative AI tools, and applications.
    • Prior experience in assessment design, test development, or curriculum development.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner for diverse learners.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Education).
  • Preferred:
    • Hands-on experience using generative AI platforms and tools (e.g. ChatGPT, DALL·E, Bard, Claude, or similar).
    • Experience working within the K–12 education sector or with adult/workforce training, particularly in curriculum design or content review.
    • Familiarity with instructional design principles, Bloom's Taxonomy, and competency-based assessments.
    • Certification in CCS Generative AI Foundations or another AI/ML-related credential.
