3D Graphics Expert Job Description

We're seeking an experienced 3D graphics expert to create high-fidelity models of human anatomy using state-of-the-art technologies.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize detailed 3D models that are accurate, realistic, and optimized for real-time rendering.

These models will be used in various applications such as interactive educational platforms, simulators, and clinical visualization tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop anatomically accurate 3D models based on medical imaging data and clinical references.
  • Optimize models for seamless integration with Unity or Unreal Engine-based platforms.
  • Implement shaders, visual effects, and realistic material properties to enhance model realism.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biomedical experts, UI/UX designers, and developers, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Integrate models into AR/VR, simulation, or web-based learning platforms.
  • Develop and maintain custom tools and pipelines for efficient model generation, labeling, and manipulation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Graphics, Game Development, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling, digital sculpting, or computer graphics, preferably in medical, gaming, or scientific visualization domains.
  • Proficiency in tools like Blender, ZBrush, Maya, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of human anatomy and experience working with anatomical references or datasets.
  • Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Familiarity with file formats (FBX, OBJ, glTF, DICOM) and optimization techniques for 3D asset delivery.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and/or C++ for tool development and workflow automation.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with AR/VR frameworks or immersive visualization.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging processing tools (e.g., 3D Slicer, ITK/VTK, SimpleITK).
  • Background in physiology, biology, or medical informatics.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with clinicians, educators, and designers.
