About Product Ownership

We are driven by a shared vision to enhance financial lives through effective collaboration. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product direction by defining the roadmap, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with strategic objectives for the business or technology domain.
  • Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and challenges.
  • Create and prioritize work for a team, while learning to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Elevate stories with the team to ensure there are sufficient ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.
Requirements:
  • At least 12 years of experience working as a Product Owner on a Scrum team.
  • In-depth knowledge of products and services, business flows, and financial context.
  • Strong expertise in Agile best practices and principles, with the ability to apply them throughout the SDLC.
  • Able to contribute input for planning new projects.
  • Able to identify and escalate risks, define mitigation plans.
  • Able to facilitate team ceremonies against the backlog.
  • Able to prioritize work effectively.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, impediments for the team.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively to the team.
  • Understand stakeholder expectations and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders as needed.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Awareness of testing practices.
  • Experience with hands-on testing.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Global Payments domain, including Payment Initiation, Processing, Clearing, and Settlement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing Agile stories and be familiar with Agile methodologies.
