Job Opportunity

As a Database Performance Enhancement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our database operations. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing database re-platforming efforts by analyzing system metrics and tuning database configurations.
  • Develop and maintain data loading scripts for Golden Gate data replication, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Optimize SQL queries and indexes using Oracle's advanced tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and owners to drive short-term work requests and long-term strategy implementation.
  • Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to large groups through clear, concise reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a logical and physical DBA, including Oracle Exadata expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of database data movement and processing, including Golden Gate and Informatica ETL.
  • Familiarity with JIRA workflow processes and agile methodology.
  • Proficiency in TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated team player.
