Automation Test Engineer Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our innovative group. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, with a strong background in Java programming and expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java + Selenium.
- Perform end-to-end testing of web-based applications, ensuring all integrations and workflows function correctly.
- Validate back-end processes using strong SQL skills for database-driven testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Implement and execute test automation for regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Analyse test results, identify bugs, and provide actionable feedback.
- Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks and test suites.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Proficient in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.
- Strong understanding of SQL for backend/database validation.
- Experience with automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, POM, etc.).
- Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) is a plus.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
