About the Role">

This position involves designing and implementing scalable backend systems that support high-performance data ingestion, partitioning, and constructing data pipelines. The successful candidate will work with modern data infrastructure such as Apache Spark, Airflow, and cloud-native tools to deliver end-to-end features and improvements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ability to evaluate and architect cloud solutions based on strengths and trade-offs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing distributed services that enable secure data processing across organizations
  • Working with modern data infrastructure such as Apache Spark, Airflow, and cloud-native tools
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the technical growth of the team

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable backend systems and distributed services in production environments
  • Proficiency in Java or Go, and familiarity with Python or Scala
  • Experience with Apache Spark and Apache Airflow in a production setting

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong system design skills and deep technical expertise
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for cloud-native service deployment
  • Experience with one or more modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or SingleStore
