Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished backend developer to assume a senior position in our Pune office. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable and robust backend services, along with a profound understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical backend components, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and RESTful APIs to support core platform functionality.
  • Integrate backend components with external systems and cloud environments, specifically Azure.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and data teams to ensure seamless full-stack delivery.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Participate in an agile development environment, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

- 4+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer or in a relevant role.

- Strong proficiency in .NET/C#.

- Hands-on experience with Azure for cloud-based development and deployment.

- Experience with Docker for containerization.

- Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Technical Skills:

- Experience in developing web-based applications using C#, HTML, JavaScript, and ASP.NET.

- Knowledge of database systems, including MS SQL Server and MySQL.

- Strong Python expertise is required.

Professional Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of practices and procedures for the full software design lifecycle.

- Experience working in an agile development environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
