We are seeking an experienced System Architect to lead the design, optimization, and automation of CAD/EDA infrastructure for global design teams.

About this Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for re-architecting worldwide LSF setups, implementing advanced features like fair share and preemption, and building automation dashboards for resource utilization and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, architect, and implement advanced LSF features, such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Lead the transformation of CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate key infrastructure processes, including resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.
Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.

Additionally, they should possess strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management, along with hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).

Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN) is also essential. Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) and understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases are highly desirable.
