Job Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Manager will be involved in conducting process consulting, internal audit, and risk consulting. This role will also involve the execution of other solutions of GRCS. As a project leader/project team member, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for reviewing the work done (Deliverables) by the team members. The role will also involve interacting with client representatives for ongoing project requirements.
The Assistant Manager will be expected to deliver quality client services and take charge of assigned project areas. Key responsibilities will include monitoring progress, managing risk, and verifying that key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
The job also requires the ability to perform and interpret process gap analysis. The role will involve identifying risks in business processes and having a good understanding of control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness and efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be required, along with the ability to work well in teams.
The job will also involve a strong understanding of IT systems. Knowledge of MS office (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc) will be required. The Assistant Manager will be expected to work under pressure, with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may demand extended working hours. Travel within India or abroad may be required for continuous long periods of time.
The role will also require the ability to demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example.
QualificationThe ideal candidate will be qualified as a CA with articleship from Big-4 firms, or an MBA from top 10 Business Schools with 3-5 years of experience in risk consulting/operations or compliance function role in the industry. Additionally, experience in process consulting/internal audit/risk consulting will be advantageous.
Certifications like Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) would be an added advantage. Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Selection ProcessCandidates should expect 2-3 rounds of personal or telephonic interviews to assess fitment and communication skills.
